Lets be clear those who are reacting here are those who are always so divisive, disrespectful, and dishonest and they are not conservatives, they are extremists. The extremists have had a lot of power because they have controlled the media through Fox and the radio talk shows and because of their airtime and audiences the real conservatives have been afraid of their power. But recently we have seen a seen a few of the real conservatives breaking away from their craziness because they are realizing they have allowed these guys and gals to take control of their party and quite frankly turn them into a joke. The Republican Party no longer can get anything done at all. They no longer stand for the tried and true principles of conservatism and in fact the Democrats have taken ownership of those ideals. In fact look at the Affordable Care Act. Look at Obama's record on terrorism and the fact that he got Osama Bin Laden after Bush simply gave up on even looking for him. Look at the fact that Pres. Obama has created 4.3 million jobs after Bush's recession while the Republicans have refused to even consider passing jobs legislation.
The extremists have taken over the Republican Party and finally some of the old school conservatives are starting to stand up for THEIR GOP. It may however be too late.
I see Michael Savage is suggesting Chief Justice Roberts is "on some epilepsy medicine," and he offers that claim as an explanation for the deviation from the party line...
Well, I'll suggest if that's the case, we ought to make the same medication available to the other conservative members of the court...
Okay, Cabdriver Confession: A honk of my horn to Lincoln for that one; I was recalling a statement he once made about General Grant's whiskey...
Priceless. I noticed that Mr. Savage didn't mention anything regarding Limbag's hydrocodone addiction when he claimed he'd move to Costa Rica if Obamacare passed. Incidentally when is he planning on moving? Does he need help packing his bags?
All the rich Republicans in Congress LOVE their public healthcare and pension (social security) plans and they REFUSE to give them up. Does anyone find that hypocritical?
ALL of these rich corporate board members, executives and journalists LOVE their corporate healthcare and pension plans and they don't mind paying their PREMIUMS which are the EXACT same thing as what the government calls taxes for the exact same programs.
So what's the problem? Oh yeah rich guys don't like the poor and the middle class having benefits like they do. It makes them feel like the lower classes are equal to them and rich guys have convinced themselves that they are superior. This isn't unique to America. It has ALWAYS been true throughout the history of civilization. Well, get over it. ALL of the other industrialized nations have given their citizens healthcare to control costs and to keep their citizens healthy! It's time America entered the TWENTIETH century even if it's the twenty-first century!
This fat slob again?
