Man With a Plan?
Mitt Romney's campaign is making a tactical shift -- and this week will begin outlining specifics of how he would govern. The move comes after a particularly bad week for Romney, and after much fretting by many in the Republican Party that Romney was too vague. But has the Obama campaign already defined Romney? With just two weeks before the first debate, Romney has a very narrow window to make something happen.
One specific policy where Republicans are losing ground is Medicare, a critical issue in the biggest battleground state of them all - Florida.
Polls apart: President Obama is now at 51 percent in Virginia, according to a new PPP poll. And he's up 11 now in Pennsylvania, a state that surely is no longer a battleground.
And Elizabeth Warren is up in a pair of new polls in Massachusetts, including one new poll where she leads by six.
Finally, ain't that rich...
Republicans -- the party that obstructed and made compromise a dirty word -- are now worried about being blamed for the partisan gridlock.

Funny coincident. At my prediction yesterday I gave to Romney 53% that is exact number he is fighting for according this video revealed hours later after my post.

Then 47% becames 51% and democrats will win every election and change finally will be in full progress at territory of one big national theme park. Yes, I love Mitts position on Obamacare. He loves everything about it except the part regarding paying for it. Just like his tax plan. He wants to cut taxes on the rich 5 times more than Bush did...without paying for it. He wants to start one to four more wars...without paying for them. Yet Republicans trust him on the economy. It's off to the appealettes court where it will depend on the judge. Of course so many jurists are conservative these days one can never count out partisan decisions, especially when it come to conservatives and unions. However, this decision seems to be based on constitutional merits so it very well may stand.
Incidentally, When Mitt went to the U.K. and solicited funds from the bankers who were under investigation for the LIBOR scandal and then went to Israel and solicited funds at that private event there, both of those fundraising events and the cash garnered there should have been highly illegal under campaign finance laws, should've resulted in massive fines, possible disqualification and possible jail time if I'm correct.
Why haven't the media and the authorities been all over this? Isn't our system corrupt enough without taking illegal foreign campaign funds?

I agree with you and I hate the corporate system but, full disclosure, I worked in upper management (and higher) for several Fortune 500 (and 100) companies. That however, has given me a look inside the extreme corruption of those very companies.

There's one glaring thing missing from Meet The Press and that's Tim Russert.I have'nt liked the show since Gregory took over.He was just some obscure commentator when they moved him up.I ca'nt figure out why,unless its one of those, it ai'nt who you know thing's.They should replace Gregory with Luke Russert and let the kid make his bone's.

And, for bonus points: Why did we say power trilogy-ALMOST? During GOP/Romney VP vetting process, at least two potential challenges/issues could not be resolved, as follows: 1)Vetting process could not negotiate a comprimise on possible VP candidate demand...that he insisted on maintaining all VP AND presidential powers, same as he enjoyed during The Bush Administration. 2) His admitted long ties to WY O MING might cause any future negotiating stance to be comprimised...too much Asian influence/leverage over U.S. admin trade, financial policies, and more.

A Message of WAR and the COST to the American Middle Class

It seems to me that President Obama has been a strong ally of Israel; the American People both Democrats and Republicans support the Jewish State without question. It is not a good idea for Prime Minister Netanyahu, to purposely put America’s relationship with Israel in the middle of a VERY polarized electorate. This could quickly get away from him. It seems irresponsible, although I understand where he is coming from and the fears he has for his Country. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to live in Israel, with the constant threat of attack.
But America is WAR weary; we have lost over 5,600 American sons and daughters in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. American Tax Payers have lost United States Treasure that is mind boggling, 1,373,461,650.000 and counting, according to the National Priorities Project. We are being asked to pay this bill with our Social Security, Medicare, Tri-care, Medicaid, Food Stamps for the hungry, our homeowner’s exemption and charitable deductions. Prime Minister Netanyahu will need the support of the AMERICAN PEOPLE, both Democrats and Republicans for such a WAR.
It is TERRIFYING and BEYOND the IMAGINATION to me that Mitt Romney who would not even serve himself in the military nor have any of his sons, saber rattles in such a CAVALIER and CARTOONISH manner as if the lives of our middle class sons and daughters were as expendable as the jobs he outsourced overseas. This man who will not articulate his policies to the American People, this man who cannot share his taxes so that we can make an informed vote, this man who has questionable ethics and is simply a LIAR and this man who neglected to mention the sacrifices of those sons and daughters fighting abroad wants us to TRUST HIM to lead us into another WAR.
This WAR that Mr. Netanyahu and Mitt Romney want us to engage in is not some small military conflict and surely not a way for Mitt Romney to show us how MACHO he is, if he were that MACHO he would have served in Vietnam instead of riding his bike all over the Champs Elysee. This WAR will ignite the Middle East; it will quickly and surely get out of control and could take us into a World War. It does not sound at this point that Prime Minister Netanyahu even has the support of his Countrymen for this action at this time.
President Obama has my support to try to solve this conflict in a thoughtful, NON EMOTIONAL and deliberate manner. Hopefully with Diplomacy, we have no appetite for another WAR, of course when the time comes I will be an American and fully engage and support the President’s decision. But rushing in to a WAR without doing “Everything” we can to avert this calamity is a fool’s lark. Imagine if an anti-Muslim video can spark a powder keg of violence around the world, think of what Israel firing missiles into Iran WILL DO! If that does happen I want Barack Obama to be the Commander in Chief.
I do not TRUST Mitt Romney in peace time, let alone in war time. His bungling has shown the American People he is NOT READY to be the Commander in Chief, saber rattling will not convince me. This man has been LESS than TRUTHFUL to us during the campaign, TRUST is not one of his strong points, and quite to the contrary he is UNTRUSTWORTHY and truly the amateur.

Obama promised and delivered Health-care, a jobs bill, the START Treaty with Russia, the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell," He also saw the last combat troops leave Iraq, cut out the middlemen from college loans, championed credit for small businesses, and established protections for consumers.
And GM is now the number one auto maker in the world again having overtaken Toyota. They are back at number one in sales and increased their sales past the 10% mark which is the best they have been since the 2008 disaster.
