Widening the Lead...
New polls from the New York Times, CBS and Quinnipiac show President Obama widening his lead in the key swing states of Ohio and Florida. The president's lead is now ten points in Ohio and a surprising nine points in Florida.
And a Bloomberg poll nationally shows Obama with a six point lead -- 49 to 43.
And the Romney campaign is worried that their presidential candidate can't generate enough excitement by himself, so Mitt Romney will be campaigning more with running mate Paul Ryan.
The Senate race in Massachusetts is getting personal... and nasty.

It is happen to be very good paying occupation "fighting for middle-class" in case of Prof. Warren.
She remains me other woman politician in time of Russia Perestroika - Irina Khakamada. Excerpt from her biography:
It is in a eyes of beholder to describe such person ether as a fighter for poor or parasite on festering wounds of society.
Your past claims that you were once a Democrat make me wonder when was this mythical period and who were these mythical Democrats that you once voted for Leo?
Or like most things you claim was this just another delusional part of your history? ha Ha Ha!
Forget about the polls, lets get to the election.
Minds are made up, there are very few swing voters left.
Lets get the ball rolling ..... and vote Romney into retirement! Maybe he can move to Kolob!
Once again Chris pretends to be sentimentally nostalgic remaining how McCain defended Obama from conservative woman, from his own supporter. I can imagine what Chris would say on the same episode should Romney had happened on the place of McCain... Obviously Romney would be blamed for presuming that Arab cannot be "decent family man and citizen". Shameless propaganda masters.
No doubt in honor of whom Romney named his dog and put on the roof of his car.
Leo, glad you have joined the conversation, however, it is very hard to follow your English.
Yes, Romney did strap Seamus to the top of his car. The poor dog crapped itself and had to travel in its own filth.
The Romneys wish to claim to dog lived to a ripe old age, but they don't know for sure. One story (from the kids) has the dog running away when they reached Canada, another has them shipping the dog off to California.
Either way, their 'precious' dog did not live out its glory years with the family who supposedly loved it - Its a crying shame.
I guess it's not my English what is difficult to follow. Most folks here are completely brainwashed by leftist propaganda. In the contrast as Social Darwinist I am immunized to any prejudice because natural selection is as objective as reality.
I am glad that idea that McCain is bigot toward Arabs has found no objections. As for dogs I really don't care about these species.
Leo and his Social Darwinism. Ha Ha Ha! Social Darwinism is a belief, popular in the late Victorian era in England, America, and elsewhere, which states that the strongest or fittest should survive and flourish in society, while the weak and unfit should be allowed to die. The theory was chiefly expounded by Herbert Spencer, whose ethical philosophies always held an elitist view and received a boost from the application of Darwinian ideas such as adaptation and natural selection. Social Darwinism is based on prejudice it does not make you immune to prejudice. Ha Ha Ha!
Social Darwinism's philosophical problems are rather daunting, and fatal to it as a basic theory (though some have applied similar ideas). First, it makes the faulty assumption that what is natural is equivalent to what is morally correct. In other words, it falls prey to the belief that just because something takes place in nature, it must be a moral paradigm for humans to follow.
This problem in Social Darwinist thinking stems from the fact that the theory falls into the "naturalistic fallacy", which consists of trying to derive an ought statement from an is statement. For example, the fact that you stubbed your toe this morning does not logically imply that you ought to have stubbed your toe! The same argument applies to the Social Darwinists' attempt to extend natural processes into human social structures. This is a common problem in philosophy, and it is commonly stated that it is absolutely impossible to derive ought from is (though this is still sometimes disputed); at the very least, it is impossible to do it so simply and directly as the Social Darwinists did.
Leo, you do yourself a disservice by claiming people are brainwashed. One could argue the same for the right wing religeous types.
McCain has nothing to do with this election so why bring him up.
At least you are honest with regard to dogs - Romney apparently is not!
In November, I believe the American people will show you they are not brainwashed, either by the left, or the right, but will make an intelligent decision and vote in Barak Obama for a second term. In fact, I'm convinced Romney is going to get a hiding, and the GOP are going to come out of this with egg on their face.
Its all about trust, and Romney is untrustworthy - sad to say!
Really? Brainwashed cannot be convinced in anything what is out their religious dominion. Others will see me as brave thruther.
McCain is brought and repeatedly by Matthews as his favorite loser. Had happen that Chris admires a bigot statement.
Leo, people see you as a lunatic living in Rush Limbaugh's rabbit hole. Every now and then you pop your head out to see if it's raining up here in the real world at which time you spout some nonsensical fact-free statement that for the most part makes the rest of us laugh.
McCain was a total loser in 2008. His choice of Palin was a disaster.
If you want to win an election choose the best candidate. mccain/palin - terrible.
Romney, once again, is a candidate who can't and won't win.
The GOP have only themselves to blame for the spot they are in. Its so pathetic, its laughable!
LOL, you can't handle the truth!
No prediction is truth before time.
Yes, GOP should blame themselves for Bush. So what? Dem have then Pelosi and Obama. They are even in leadership failing.
Romney will win. It is the law of great nations survival.
Typical Leo:
Complete contradiction. Prediction isn't truth for Dems and Obama but Leos prediction for Romney is LAW. Ha Ha Ha!
Bush and the GOP cause the biggest economic failure since the Great Depression and lead us into two unpaid for wars using false information and outright lies whereas Obama leads us out of that recession, creating millions of jobs, doubling shares in the stock market, ending one war and stating end date and exit strategy for the other. Not to mention, universal health care and massive reduction in costs for one of the biggest costs in our budget.
Leo, lives in alternate universe of Rush Limbaugh where real facts don't exist, and logic is a total unknown factor.
